Let's say you lose. You don't have the money to pay me back. If you had the BTC1.5 to pay me back in a week, then you wouldn't need to borrow my money. If you win, then great. I have an extra BTC0.5. I'd say that since I have no reason to trust you that it might not be such a great idea to lend to you.

Who are you? What's stopping you from making a new account after you've got the loan? God, I'm seeing a wave of 'good poker players' lately.

Was just gonna post something along this line.

If he can scrape together $25 to buy the 1.5BTC to pay back, then he could come up with $18 to buy 1BTC to deposit at SWC.

and good point, John. I play in a monthly charity tournament with many self-proclaimed "good players", including players who make a full-time living, or part-time living off poker.

In 15 months tournaments of usually between 48-80 players starting, i've cashed 6 times, and won twice, and been the bubble boy twice (and usually in this particular group, the people who are guaranteed to cash usually chip in $10 each to pay the bubbler). I don't even consider myself to be a good player.

itai3856, how do we know you're a good player? Point us to links to your cashes, wins, etc. Show us your earnings from poker. What tournaments have you won? What events have you placed in? Show us some evidence that our 1BTC investment won't be wasted by some Full Tilt wannabe who thinks he's the next Negreanu or Esfandieri, or whatever that guy's name is.
