I placed a cash-to-bitcoin order on bitinstant about 4 hours ago and requested them sent to my email. I have yet to receive them and when I check the status on the website, it says "order execution failed." Not sure what exactly that means of what I should do. Any thoughts?

You could try the contact form, email address, and/or phone number on their contact page:

I experienced an issue with cash to bitcoin from Bitinstant yesterday that is still unresolved today.

I've e-mailed their support twice, once seven hours after receiving a confirmation e-mail from Bitinstant but not receiving the bitcoins, and once again this morning. I still have not gotten any response from support nor received my coins.

Needless to say I am fairly disappointed. I've done this several other time with them and not had any issues, but to not hear back from the support e-mail, which is supposedly 24/7 and will produce responses in a couple hours is concerning.

I'm going to try sending a PM to a Bitcoin rep on this forum, and I can call when their office is open Monday, but when you need money you need money. The whole idea is that it is nearly instant.

Hey,

Please PM me your Order ID and Ill see what I can do.

If you received a response from our staff, I ask that you update this thread.

We're experiencing an issue, if you take a look in Service Discussion before posting here you can see:

We've always honored our transfers, never scammed anyone, and respond more swiftly then any other businesses. Please bear with us.

Thanks

OK, Yankee. I will PM you once I figure out how to do it in this forum exactly  Grin

It is actually nice to hear that there is a known issue that is being worked on and that explains why I haven't received personal attention via the support e-mail yet. I never thought you guys were going to cut and run. Its good to know you're available on this forum as well.

I'll post here once my issue gets addressed.

Thanks, Yankee.

I received my coins while I was sleeping last night. Glad to see BitInstant overcome that hiccup.

Same with me on 20th Dec. 2012
I gave a Mt.Gox redeem code of $270 to Bitinstant.com for transfer to BTC-e.com.

Order execution failed!

Bitinstant support said: "... low balance on the BTC-e exchange... "
But up to now 26th Dec. no transfer from Bitinstant for my money.

Hey, your order was processed. Sorry for the delay.

Also, in the future. No need to post in more than 1 thread. We see your issue in the other place you posted. Posting in more threads won't get our attention faster, just annoy us.

Thanks  Smiley

. . . Yankee, for some reason i am not allowed to PM you on these boards . . .
You need to have 1 post before you can PM.  You now have 1 post.  Go ahead and try PM again.

Also, notice that there is an official BitInstant support discussion here at bitcointalk.org where you could have posted your question and it might have been noticed a bit faster:

I deposited cash approximately 5 hours ago, for it to pay to bitcoin address.  My order status now shows "Order Execution Failed."  This is all new to me, and I'm not having a very easy first experience.  Any help would be appreciated.  I've already emailed support about 45 minutes ago, and still have not received a response. Hoping they respond soon.
