I just downloaded the client, and am curious as to what a proper hash per second rate is?

Interested in mining and trying to get some more info.

Was more or less looking for a ball park number of what productive mining would have to be.

Maybe this will help, all setups are different. You can use the first page to estimate your hardwares hash rete and plug those numbers into this calculator.
