I am offering small Litecoin loans.

My aim is to increase interest in this altcoin and offer short term loans for an altcoin that is not worth the massive amount that Bitcoin is. (Which increases scam likelihood)

If you want a Litecoin loan then you must fit the below criteria.

1) Have been a member for at least 6 months.
2) Have a post count of 100 or more.

To apply for a loan please comment on here stating how much you require and timescale for payback.

The maximum amount of time a loan can be taken for is one month and payment will be made in weekly instalments.

The weekly rate will be 2% compounded.

This loan offering is part of a project I am developing and this is to gauge interest in Litecoin loans.

If this becomes popular then I will eventually start offering larger loans and over a longer period, to long term regulars.

Thanks.

What is the point? I take a loan from you and do what with the Litecoins? They're not accepted anywhere. There is no vendor base. Their only true value is to convert them to Bitcoins on an exchange. Where is the enticement?

You could trade securities on LTC-Global.
You could use them to short LTC.
You could loan them to someone else at a higher interest rate.

etc.

If you don't have a need for loan then don't borrow LTC - but don't confuse that with there being no valid reason for ANYONE to want a loan.

I currently have a loan out on LTC (I loaned someone LTC) and it was not a scam.

So yes - there is a want/need for this at times.

If you would consider it - I would gladly go in half with you on any loans as long as we evaluate the risks as well as we can.  The terms you have provided seem to take care of a good deal of the scammers already! Smiley
