Past 12 years I have internet connection at my home. Now I have 5 mps broadband internet connection. Good speed.

Internet connection in my own, using my own money is just about 1 year and a half, I spend too much using free wifi when I was studying, like the free net on the malls, on restaurant and hotels, staying on their basement for free internet.... That's how my life before just to have research on my homework, staying on library is booring.

A bit over 20 years now. Don't remember the exact time I got internet for the first time, but it was slower than 56 kbit/s and sounded like an alien civilization trying to make contact during dial-up.

Over 20 years ago. My first ISP was AOL of course. I remember the CDs they used to mail out everyone encouraging you to join their expensive monthly ISP dialup plans.. I really didn't switch to broadband until maybe 2007 with Bellsouth DSL at the time.

Now I'm just on a Spectrum 100Mbps internet plan and love every moment with it.

Over 20 years - the dial up drama was real... the phone cord extensions required if you wanted to relocate your pc to another part of the house - the fact anytime anyone wanted to use the phone you had to disconnect from the internet if you only had one phone line. The price!! It was astronomical for the amount of data you got. The speed - absolute rubbish!! The connection quality - bad to sh*t if someone was running an electric fence nearby (ok townies might not have had that problem but us farmy peeps... it was a thing lol).
And my god - the loading speeds.......................................... not to mention the type of pc was equally as rubbish - mine had 8mb of ram...

I started to have internet connection way back year 2004 , that is when i started to know internet , and other websites like the friendster , google , youtube etc. And when i have internet connections it helps me a lot in my studies ,in my homework ,researches and even in my projects. I just use my cellphone then , and the connection then is just gprs. And its quite fast in connection because they have the corresponding ip's to use.

I think since i had a hold of a phone i have internet but my last wifi actually is 100mpbs but now only 5mpbs.
