Hello,

is anyone aware of a service (other than mmoclub.com who don't seem to be active at the moment, at least I can't contact anyone) which buys World of Warcraft gold for BTC? I have tons of gold and nothing to do with it, would love to exchange it.

Linden Labs made a change to their terms of service last month prohibiting third-party exchanges from exchanging Lindens. A few days later they added a 'reseller program' that a few third-party exchanges are participating in (including VirWox) that allows people to still buy Lindens through a third-party exchange. But what seems to be gone for good is the option to sell your Lindens to a third-party exchange. If you have Lindens in your Second Life account and want to sell them, your only option now is to sell them on the Lindex (the official Second Life exchange); they made VirWox and other third-party exchanges either remove their objects in SecondLife that used to allow depositing of Lindens, or disable or limit the functionality (for example, TheRock still allows you to deposit Lindens, but only for stock purchases; they have removed Lindens from their currency trading).

I don't use VirWox myself, but I think under these new policies, if you already have Lindens in your VirWox account, or if you buy some Lindens through VirWox, and they never leave your VirWox account, it might still be possible for you to sell those (I'm not sure), because it looks like VirWox has not removed trading in Lindens from its website. But there is no longer any way to transfer Lindens from your Second Life account into your VirWox account.

For competitive pvp'ers and casual pve'ers, there is still a lot of game to play.  For those that thrive on the sense of accomplishment from old school pve difficulty, it's dead.

I have wow gold to sell as well!

The ViralTrade exchange (www.viraltrade.com) will soon enable Bitcoin and WoW gold trading. As of now the website is a price comparison website for virtual currency such as WoW gold, but we are developing an exchange system so that users can trade bitcoins for virtual currencies and other digital currencies. Of course users will also be able to trade bitcoins and virtual currencies for regular currency too. So if you are interested in such trading please stay tuned Grin

Do people still play WOW?

Seems hard to believe, but, yes they do. Even worse, some people still play MU.

You can try make a topic about selling your World of Warcraft gold on Digital Goods section, maybe you will get a costumer from your topic on that section.
