Hi all, first post here.
I looked at all the sections in this forum and decided on posting this here since it's bitcoin related and did not find a different good fit. If this has to be moved to a different section I apologise and am happy to comply.

For a project I am constructing a visual timeline of the blockchain in 20 chapters/pages, a blockchain/bitcoin/crypto canon if you will. (this amount can be changed if necessary but 20 pages would be ideal)

I'm not a complete newb, read the book "The age of cryptocurrency" by Paul Vigna and Michael J. Casey, bought some alt-coins in 2018, but this post is a request for your expertise on the matter and I appreciate your time, help and the insights from this community.
I would be very much interested in your suggestions of what would belong on this list of noteworthy and defining moments in the timeline of the evolvement of crypto of which Bitcoin is obviously a big part, but I'm not necessarily looking to limit it to Bitcoin.

My idea is starting in 1992 with the cypherpunks meetings and mailing list using the wired magazine cover as an inspiration for the first visual. I do think the cypherpunks deserve enough credit so I would not mind adding 2 more pages for them
Most of the “bitcoin lore” dates from it’s early years and when bitcoin and cryptocurrencies became more widespread after 2013 it becomes a bit harder for me to choose what I could put down. And I hope you can help me here.

I came up with the following so far, it is more or less chronological and it's the way I'm ordering the "chapters" but I'm very happy if you suggest me to order it differently and add or leave out.

- Cypherpunks - wired cover
- Here I find a chance to highlight more predecessors/cypherpunkers, perhaps in the form of a combined portrait (Nick Szabo etc, who would you suggest to be portrayed?)
- Satoshi Nakamoto/the white paper/block1
- Hal Finney - first bitcoin sent (block #170)
- Laszlo Hanyecz’s 10,000 BTC pizza purchase
- Mt Gox - Jed McCaleb’s sale to Mark Karpelès
- Ross Ulbricht launches the Silk Road
- Charlie Shrem - BitInstant
- Winklevos twins

From here on things get more complicated for me and hopefully you can help out.
-2017 bitcoin boom/2018 bitcoin crash

-Altcoins highlighted 1 to 3 pages. This can lead to a difficult situation though of which ones to include, and they come with their seperate timelines. And I have about 10/11 pages left for the 2013-2021 timeframe.
Please suggest, how to fill these pages.

The following 2 points would be interesting since they are recent, not sure if it would be wise to spend 2 pages on NFT’s
- Cryptopunks are the first NFTs to be sold on the Etherium Blockchain in June 2017
- Beeple sells a $69 million NFT on Christies auction. March 2021

I truly thank you for making it this far and if you’d take the time to suggest me anything I’m very grateful for that.

Kind regards.

You might find @xtraelv's The most iconic bitcointalk threads. History on Bitcointalk. handy. The collections starts from 2009.

Also @GazetaBitcoin's Bitcoin: The dream of Cypherpunks, libertarians and crypto-anarchists

From here on things get more complicated for me and hopefully you can help out.

This is going to be tough. You have to start with the very first altcoin called Namecoin. Bitcoin clones and Forks, Ethereum and the boom of ICOs. You don't have to mention all the erc-20 tokens that launched their token sale and failed or projects abandoned by the team.

How about a separate publication? This will probably consume a lot of your time than you imagined.

Check this it might be helpful, one I created in 2018

This above timeline reminds me of this timeline I did back in 2018... I think I seriously need to update it now!
