I was watching BBC news... and this news just came in. At first, I thought that it was an Islamist attack. However, the BBC has now confirmed that the ISIS is not behind the murder. She was one of the most loyal supporters of Jeremy Corbyn.

Jo Cox, 41, Labour MP for Batley and Spen, was left bleeding on the floor by her attacker. A 77-year-old man also suffered slight injuries. A 52-year-old man was arrested near Market Street, Birstall, West Yorkshire Police said. The MP holds a weekly advice surgery nearby.

I saw the news about this as well, it was the Guardian saying this, but apparently he was yelling "Britain First" before killing her, you're right, this is going to give a huge amount of ammunition to remain side and the left in particular. Nevermind the fact this is 1 death vs continuous attacks from Islamists actively trying to kill people who have nothing to do with politics. It's very interesting seeing how when they're faced with many things that go against their ideology they go into full denial and write it off as nothing as much as possible and claim people are just being prejudiced, but they get one single person that matches their stereotypes they go ballistic.

This sort of thing happened a rape victim at Stanford, they get one guy who fitted their stereotype and ran with it, nevermind the hundreds of innocent people they've skewered in the past or the fact that there were people helping the woman these people only care about the narrative. I actually find it rather depressing that I know exactly how they're going to use the death of their colleague like this to push their agenda even before it's started.

When we say in Europe that gun control does not stop criminals from getting guns, we actually know about this, it's entirely likely that the person bought a real gun, she's been poronunced dead apparently. I remembe watching a news report that was covering Manchester gangs, they have absolutely no problem getting firearms despite heavy gun control laws.

As for the EU referendum, none of this will change my vote, this is definitely just one crazy nutter that was acting on his own and I'm an Anarchist, it doesn't matter what happens, I will always vote for democracy and freedom.

The latest news is that all campaigning for the Brexit referendum have been suspended. The REMAIN side needed a miracle to be in the contention. And they got it. I am not going to dish out any conspiracy theory... but this incident will be a huge relief for the REMAIN campaigners. Still not much information about the perpetrator. It is only known that he is 52-years old.

If people switch their vote because of this then their heart were never into it.

I don't think people will change their vote, from the polls that have been coming in, leave is actually on the rise, the death of a Labour MP I doubt is going to change that, because I think most sane people can see that was just some old guy who clearly had some serious issues.

Americans were in open revolt about Federally-imposed multi-gender public school restrooms and locker room showers.  Until someone shot 50 gay guys in a nightclub.

If there was a conspiracy to make the sheeple fearful and stampede them away from the surging alt-right movement, it would do exactly those type of things (which create salient examples of reactionary terror while making martyrs of dead leftists).

For me it's started with the Reichstag burning in Germany. Same hubris of grander, planning, elitism... Anyway being suspicious of events is totally rational. Only if factually disproved can it be disregarded. However it may take too much time on an already limited individual lifespan.
