It literally doesn't exist except that it does and is now NO38 in the Coinmarket with a value of 1.38 million. There's no Bitcointalk thread, no website to speak of, yet its doing rather well considering it was 1 satoshi just a few months ago. How many of you have been keeping this one a secret..

Actually ScotCoin has been around for a long time.  I can't quite recall when it first launched but it went from being an alt coin to a counterparty asset after a swap I'm guessing over a year ago.  It's traded on Counterparty for quite a long time.

The ScotCoin website is still up and current with info by the way.

Avoid like the plague; it's an user issued asset (now) on the counterparty platform, held by a very small quantity of users. Pish attempt at a pump and dump.

Some coins will make it, many will fail and fall by the wayside. There has to be a good reason for a coin to succeed, such as a madly patriotic country getting behind it and starting to utilise it (this has already started on a small scale, drinks, tickets etc). This is why I think that scotcoin may be one of the more successful coins. It has been gradually distributed around, still cheap enough for folks to get involved...you could do a lot worse!

I didn't understand a word of that except the last sentence.  That I totally agree with, this is a p&d attempt and kind of a lame one at that.  Never heard of the coin.
