my ex-girlfriend was kind enough to deliver my phone into the pool. now I'm unable to log into my trading accounts.

I've got a backup of all the 2FA seeds but I'm alone on some remote Island in Indonesia and have no easy way to get a new smartphone to setup a new 2FA from the backup.

is there a way to emulate the google 2FA auth android app on a windows 7 system? or any other way to recover the 2FA from the seed?

any help is highly appreciated! I've got a large position open and would be very very bud hurt if the price starts moving against me without any chance of getting out of my position...

cheers!

just googled it for you .
You could use Oracle's VirtualBox, Android x86 OS, and then install the Authenticator. This would essentially give you the Google Authenticator on a desktop.

VirtualBox: https://www.virtualbox.org/

Android x86: http://www.android-x86.org/

from http://superuser.com/questions/462478/is-there-a-google-authenticator-desktop-client

thanks a lot for the fast reply!

I had the same problem a year ago and remember googeling it without any satisfying results.

winauth (https://winauth.com/download/) from your second link works fast and easy without the need of setting up a virtual machine:

problem solved! thanks again!
