Totally agree! We can wait and see, but then again, despite the benefits like better security and work automation, carries threats that are reasonable subject of concern. At the end of the day we can say it sure is a powerful technology, but had to be used wisely.

Facial recognition is going to be a heated debate in the next years.
We need it in order to stop and eliminate terrorism once and forever but it is going to violate the citizen's privacy.
But, if governments decide to adopt this kind of surveillance we are going to have a lot of protests in various countries around the world.

Things like this would be ok in perfect society . . But still there is the risk of it falling one day into the hand/hands of evil entities/persons in such society.
Not recommended in any society as long as evil exist in our world and human mind is vulnerable to the evil.
The safest place to use such technology if it becomes necessary is in decentralized communities.

I agree, biometric has always been less secure than memorized passwords. You could unlock someone's phone just with their finger/ eye without them noticing.

But then some people prefer convenience over security to save time. Despite locking my phone with a PIN, I'd still opt for fingerprint unlock rather than manually keying in the PIN, which shaves off several seconds and avoid revealing it to a CCTV within the vicinity.

I agree with you because face recognition as a privacy invasion is a threat to our country Their influence is more prevalent in society and the people of the society are deprived of it in many ways The government can take measures to control it. Otherwise, they will become more powerful.
