How do I remove threads from my 'show new replies to your posts' list?

Use the watchlist, not the "Show new replies to your posts." The watchlist can be made to have all of the threads you want to see, and when you unwatch a thread, it is removed from the watchlist. Using "Show new replies..." will list all of the threads you have ever posted to and whenever they get new replies. The only way to remove threads from that list is to delete all of your posts in a thread.
