I no longer want to be a member of the Bitcoin Foundation due to obvious reasons.  What is the the process to resign as a member?

I'm glad to see that people stop being sheeple.

Why don't you ask the people that enlisted you in in the first place? :p

You've got to donate more to get your name off the list.

Why not ask on their forums?

Bitcoin Core developer [PGP] Warning: For most, coin loss is a larger risk than coin theft. A disk can die any time. Regularly back up your wallet through FileBackup Wallet to an external storage or the (encrypted!) cloud. Use a separate offline wallet for storing larger amounts.

due to obvious reasons

I'm sorry, but it isn't obvious to me. Maybe you don't want to pollute this thread with a discussion about your reasons, but could you at least provide a link that explains the situation?

Send an email to Lindsay Holland <lindsay@bitcoinfoundation.org> explaining that you are no longer willing to be a Bitcoin Foundation member. She'll take you off the membership list and take your name off the public list of supporters. (if chose to have your name public when you signed up)

Do include your reasons for leaving the foundation in your email.
