Yeah, Coinbase have a reputation for security. You'll be secure from:

  • Buying BTC when the price dips ("Sorry! Your order with Coinbase could not be fulfilled!" etc)
  • Direct access to "your" BTC (which technically belong to them until you withdraw)
  • Spending your money anonymously


So, yeah. Real secure. Secure against being able to use Bitcoin like it's actually Bitcoin.
