I think he is a male. satoshi nakamoto is more likely a name for man in japanese. but i guess it doesnt matter at all. the important thing is what he contributed for being the founder of bitcoin.

Anyway, I don't find women less intelligent or scientifically gifted but the problem with them is that they usually lack motives and dedication for that type of work.

I don't have any preference regarding Satoshi. He or she is human after all. That should be enough for us.

Let Satoshi live his life peacefully and stop speculating about his identity. Because once his actual identity is reveled, all the regulating authority will be after him for imprisonment. He/she don't deserve this for sure.

It doesn't mater whether Satoshi Nakamoto is a male, female, or a hermaphrodite. Honestly, we don't even know whether this "Satoshi Nakamoto" is a single person, or a group of individuals.

From the name itself, Satoshi Nakamoto, I bet he is a male and he is a Japanese.

Most likely, "Satoshi Nakamoto" is the nom de plume / nom de guerre of a single individual or a group of individuals. He/She can be of any nationality, and right now we don't have enough information available with us to reach a conclusion.

Actually there is more evidence we gathered that point us to the conclusion that he is NOT Japanese at all.
Most notably: his use of perfect English language and including in his posts phrases like 'bloody hard' indicating he is more of a British English speaker.
Also his original bitcoin's white paper is written exclusively in English, with no hint of Japanese - which is uncommon for a Japanese person.

I think this is just a thought and a question that's not so important to know. Because of the bitcoin/makers of the bitcoin (satoshi) just wanted to give a new innovation in the digital currency, even bitcoin also regardless of gender to be able to use it. Cast away a silly question like this, and take the advantage in the bitcoin

Yeah why does it even matter of what gender he or she is, it is not going to make any difference in the Bitcoin price or other stuff.
The only thing that it could do is get some media attention which is always good for Bitcoin.

Yeah I agree it does not even matter to me if the real Satoshi is a male or female for me it does not change a thing.
I am going to keep doing what I have always been doing with my Bitcoins.

Gender is not a concern when it comes to such a big invention. Only the innovation needs to be appreciated, because bitcoin has given users the hope of earning along with security for investment.
