I haven't been on this forum but maybe 2 weeks, so I understand no one knows me.  One thing I know is I want to trade lite coins and have been having a hell of a time.  I know this is not your issue.

My issues are trying to get Litecoins with USD.  I cannot get any of the reasonable USD to Litecoin currency exchanges to work.  I am at my wits end.   I have registered with so many exchanges from Liqpay to OKPay, to Dwolla, bitfloor, MtGox, Bit[any word here].  I have my bank account linked finally to Dwolla.  So yo may thin think why not just transfer to Dwolla to MtGox to BTC-e in BTC?  Yeah, BTC-e keeps a wall there to keep BTC ~$3 USD below MtGox, Bitfloor and other excanges.  If you have BTC you've mined and can get your cash from MtGox there is an excellent arbitrage opportunity.  MY problem with that has been that once I Went from Localbitcoins, and bitfloor to BTC-e, took my hit, made other trades, changed to BTC moved to GOX to sell I got my cash stranded.  MtGox's rates for international wires are fine if you're trading in the $thousands+ but a few hundred paying a $20 fee is ludicrous, kills the margins.

Then there are the Gox coupons, yeah, so what good are they for BTC?  Puts me back in the position of losing ~5%+ on moving the BTC back to BTC-e, so no thanks.

Now to my actual stated purpose and question is there anyone who wants to sell approximately $500USD worth of LTC?  I prefer escrow since I don't know you either.  Like I stated I'm new so I'm not all the way up to speed on which services are the good and which are the bad.

Terms are negotiable, with my initial intent being buying at the average of the LTC/USD spread on BTC-e at an agreed upon time.

Also, yes I am getting a mining rig.  I just want to get in the game, and help make LTC a winner.

Thanks!

And if there are no offer's that fine I completely understand.

[added]
I do now know a seller of BTC on Localbitcoins, we met in person.  I have not spoken with him, but if it helps easy anyone's reservations, on top of all the other info I have that proves I'm me. I can ask him if he's willing to vouch.   I am withholding his name and my name on that board until and if such time arises that he agrees to say he met me.

Okay looks like you're almost there. This is my path:

Bank -> Dwolla -> MtGOX -> Bitcoins -> Btc-e.com -> LTC

OR

Cash -> Bitinstant -> MtGOX -> Bitcoins -> Btc-e.com -> LTC

Thanks.  I guess it looks like trying again do what you stated.

Though moving from Gox to BTC-e is nuts to me.  The overhead built into the BTC-e exchange are huge.  I think that's why Bitinstant doesn't allow cash to BTC-e, but they accept BTC-e coupons.  Bitinstant would be trading against themselvves if the did, and the BTC-e site seems to show that Bitinstant to BTCe used to be a path,

Currently Gox is at $48.23xxx average $47.59xxx

BTC-e is at $45.74xxx average $45.14xxx

On top of fees that's going backwards another -5%.

You buy bitcoins on MtGox and send to your account address on BTC-e. Under finances there is an option to deposit bitcoins to an address.

No fees really.

After you get Bitcoins to BTC-e.com then buy Litecoins on the LTC/BTC exchange. Dont sell for USD.
