That forum is specific for development of Bitcoin, so I don't see how mentioning something about how R3 is shilling their "blockchain technology" thing for example, is going to fit on that board. Such threads will probably get moved elsewhere.

The altcoin subforum is probably a place to talk about this, since anything that isn't Bitcoin is by default alt-something.

I guess a fair bit is going to depend on what your interpretation of blockchain as a phrase is. In the main I'd guess it would be perceived as all the permissioned stuff going on. You could try the alt section but you might be shot down.

Alt or off-topic IMHO, in general if you have no idea where to post, but think its bitcoin related use the "bitcoin discussion"[1] section. Staff will quickly move the thread in the correct section.
