Although I'm not in the market to buy BTC but I am curious on how this is done. A walk through on how this can be set up and a general Idea on costs.

I'm with RBC. Direct deposit are free I believe. Interac e-mail transfers are one free per month, then $1.50 each afterwards I believe.

These are small infrequent transfers? Maybe they set off alarms over a set amount.
