Even if there are free trials for VPN. Whether Paid or Free, you can't mine on VPS. The VPS are shared and if you use 100% cpu usage they will ban you.

not all are shared you can ask for private vps , some guys are selling them on this forum, they were also very cheap, but not free sadly, good luck op

CPU mining on VPS is usually dead deal -- unless you get a good CPU for $1/month or less, you'll be operating at loss.

https://hmage.net/minerstats.php#vps_vultr_5mo -- one of the fastest $5 VPS'es and it's still giving $0.07/day at most under best circumstances. That's 2.17$/month.
