I went through the process to test out what these guys would do and received a response asking for bitcoins to be deposited into a wallet of their choice.

After receiving this email I responded I would like to proceed with using BTCrow.com - an escrow based business for bitcoins.

Their response was.

Dear customer,

we are not able to accept payment through a
escrow service. We need the bitcoins to order
the components. Like you know we build by order.

If you need more sureness please wait until we publish
our hardware photos or until may.

With best regards,

Your CedarTec Team.

After doing so I would like to definitely chalk this one up as a scam, unless they truly prove themselves.

the search box is your friend. There are a handful of threads that breakdown why CedarTec is 99.9999999999% guaranteed scam.  You could have saved yourself the 5minutes of B.S. with them with 1 minute of forum searching.

Since I cannot post in the other forums, I actually work for the datacenter these guys are hosted at, and have notified our hosting team about the threads found here.
