I need someone to fix or alter a code for me

I'm working on http://ResourceTimes.com

the images put up for the main article roullete have to be edited to have that bottom black bar behind the text

What I want is code that automatically puts that shadow over the image so these images don't have to be manually edited

The code I want is like how it is on this site: http://chicagofinancialtimes.com

So if you can fix the main page to run like Chicago Financial Times you get the 0.25BTC

if need any help or uploading script files just message me

ALSO

need a quick fix to get the content shifted to right a few dozen pixels to get that share bar on the left out of the way of everything else

SOLVED, closing

Just simple CSS. First make sure you change all the images without the black background.

Remove the existing background: url(...) CSS rule for #featured-slider .postteaser

Add: background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2);

Play around with 0.2 for different transparency.
