I am using Multibit 0.5.18 and sent 1.995 BTC to my trading account.

I am getting the following error at blockchain.info:

https://blockchain.info/tx-index/826e34bbc6aa415ffda74541728bdb30e7e4368ea27dfd0b5d22a0cd1e4bac0d

Blockexplorer.com says uncofirmed but you can see the amount and the transaction fee. I have always used the defaults on Multibit. In fact I do not even know how to change them.

I just assumed that my transaction fee was measured appropriately by the software.

How can I fix this? Wait it out and let it come back?

Thanks.

It suddenly started confirming after I posted this. Gremlins. Still would like to know more about this though.

Bitcoin transactions are made of inputs and outputs. The inputs spend previous outputs. Your transaction spends from a large number of outputs, thus it has a large number of inputs. Validating a transaction with many inputs can be resource expensive.

Blockchain.info's node has a policy of rejecting any transaction with over 250 inputs probably to reduce resource use on their node. However, if a block includes such a transaction, then they will accept the transaction. This is what happened with your transaction because it had too many inputs.
