Last I heard Mark Karpeles was doing yard exercises in Fuchu and the Mt. Gox trustees had released a list of accepted claims which totaled about $450 million.

Is there any news whether they will paying on those claims?

As far as I know the trials are not yet over, im not even sure if they started at all. I think Mark Karpeles will spend some years in jail, and when he goes out, if he is not a complete moron, he would have saved some BTCs for himself cold stored in some place, so when he's out the price should be above 10.000 a coin, which would retire him.

Do the claims and bankruptcy have any relation to the criminal stuff with our tubby friend? I don't think that's how it works unless he's tortured and gives up a few more coins.
