As Bitcoin continues to rally against the dollar, Litecoin is rallying against bitcoin. Vicurex show stong bidding for LTC. Will the day of competing crypto-currencies soon arrive? Will more dollars find their way into LTC as BTC is bid up? BTE-e is showing strong dollar bidding as well. As one reader speculated, what would happen to LTC in the wake of Satoshi Dice adoption:
Litecoins being faster could be helpful to services such as Satoshi Dice. It’s clear SD is flooding the bitcoin network because of the massive amount of transactions it does a day, making so that orders take more time to confirm than they usually should. Imagine if Satoshi moves up to Litecoin, which is highly compatible and easy to trade with btcs. You get the same advantage but you get it faster, while at the same time speeding up the Bitcoin network since there are more empty rooms for non-satoshi transactions now!
