I am quite a bit of a noob atm but I really need help with setting up my rigs so the GPUs run independently from each other. I currently have only 4x7870s running on 2 separate motherboards. I have read that running your GPUs connect via Crossfire hinders their performance and they can produce more hashing power if they all work separately.

I can't find anywhere a guide on how to do. It's probably really simple, but again, I am a noob. Please help me.

just use bitminter, it's the simpliest mining software, and will detect your 2 gpu. Grin
try with or without the crossfire support
