Hey guys,

Just wanted to share a news bot I made on telegram.
Basically it scans twitter and a number of other sources and finds and shares the most relevant information on Telegram

Why did I build it ?

1. It helps me cut the clutter on Twitter and get straight to the content
2. Previews within the news bit shared with me helps me figure if I wish to read the content or not
3. Acts as a central repository of all news I wish to have / a book marking system.

How to use it ?

1. Add @bitcoinrssbot on telegram
2. Enter /start

The bot will send you news routinely.
I am looking to add more functionalities to the bot as of now. There are around 100 users of the bot currently.
If you'd like to develop it further - do ping me.
If you wish to buy the bot out from me, am open to offers.

As of now it is from a curated source of Bitcoin related news platforms (coindesk, cointelegraph etc) and top developers.
Thank you for considering to add it to the group.

I am looking at building the bot further for added functionalities.
Maybe a price ticker could be in the works Smiley

One of these days we will have a bot wiping our ass, while we watch the latest Bitcoin news on our tablets. Good work OP, we need technology to make things less cluttered and to save us some time. You know what they saying, <Time is money > Can you configure the bot to filter and retrieve other news too, apart from Bitcoin related stuff? ^hmmmmm^

OP this is a brilliant idea. Having the bot on telegram will bring the most relevant news that we need so that we keep track of the trending news in bitcoin. At least we don't have to browse through crappy sites sifting for bitcoin news.

that will be a great help to us bitcoin users. It will allow us to have latest update about latest news pertaining bitcoin. Being updated all the time about bitcoin is very handy and helpful to traders like me to determine if we have to buy or sell our bitcoins or to exchange it to other currencies. Ill be updating this thread after I have tried your bot.

Nice one OP and also Congrats to you for this great idea. I would love to receive news from coindesk and cointelegraph.
Oh the bot already have 100 users? Good start imo. I think you will get more, 'cause it will be more convenient to see news from different sources because of this. I'll give it a try. Thanks for sharing!
