I was going to buy this, however, I have just noticed the first PCIE x1 slot next to the x16 slot will be blocked by the fans/heatsink if I put a card in the x16 slot.

I already have 5 USB PCIE x1 -> x16 risers and don't want to buy a single x16 -> x16 riser.

Anybody know of a mobo that doesn't have this problem with room for at least 6 gfx cards?

you can use usb powered riser x1->x16 for your pcie x16 on motherboard.
i use 6 of this on my H81S2 Hi-Fi Biostar and all work fine.
