Am planning to buy this usb litcoin miner 220kh/s from aliexpress as people who bought it have positive feedback. it goes for $16.48.

But am not gonna use it mine litcoin, i want to mine other crytonote like bytcoin or monero. but am afraid if its only design to mine litcoin.

Another question is can it work with minergate software if i connect it to my laptop (window ?

Nope, If this USB miner can mine Litecoin, that means that it is able to performs "scrypt" hashing.
So you can only mine altcoin that use "scrypt", and with 220 KH/s you can earn something like 0.01$/day

I don't think it's worth to even buy this stuff

If you have a litecoin ASIC, you can only mine scrypt algo coins, likely if you have a bitcoin miner, you can only mine SHA256 algo coins, this USB mine don't worth the price, with only 220Kh/s you get 0.02$ per day, mining digibyte

You can use it to mine newly launch coin almost every week there are scypt algos coin that are newly launch but the 220kh/s is indeed very low but if you have 5 of these it could be profitable in the long run,do not mine coins that has high difficulty..
