Cryptonator has been attacked by hackers a couple of days ago.
Tech Support acknowledged API keys have been stolen so that many of users lost money.
From my account with enabled 2Factor authentication there were stolen 11 BTC.

How many times me and others have to say that IF YOU DON'T HAVE YOUR KEYS YOU DON'T OWN YOUR ACCOUNT. Keeping your money on an online service is an nightmare specially when they don't secure good enough their servers. Sorry for your loss,, at least you will learn not to hold your money everywhere, 11btc is not small amount of money and you should know at least the negative things that could potentially happen if you kept your coins on an online wallet.

I'm sorry for your loss. It's very unpleasant and insulting(((
Recently, I also had a loss, not as big as you. Nothing could be done ...
Maybe you're more lucky

It's scary when hackers attack. If I was, I would not be able to breathe. Hackers need to be executed for their actions

unfortunately there is nothing we can do to avoid these situations.
there was some precautions to reduce the risk though. for example you should never leave your money on an exchange. withdraw as often as possible, although it makes everything a nightmare but it is a good thing.

enable 2 factor authentication.
if you have API keys, disable certain features that you don't want if the platform allows you. for example disable withdrawals, only allow making trades.

My Cryptonator account was protected by 2 factor authentication, performed all recommendations of the service for protection.
Apparently, Cryptonator does not adequately protect the data.

We can't do anything with it, Because as we all know, crypto is a one-way ticket, and when it has been hack, we certainly can't do anything about it, I think the only thing you should do, is to invest in a good ICO or alt to gain back what you have lost.
