Hello,
I have been studying the eco-system for a good 2 long years now. I have also had the fine pleasure of working with institutional VC's and off-late banks on a research level collaboration. What I have understood from my experience so far is
1. There is a lack of good quality journalism on Alt's 2. No routinely updated publication exists when it comes to alts.
I am thinking of working on a quarterly project that updates individuals about the state of the ecosystem, value addition, consumer sentiments and prospective projects under each alt. My planned approach would include
1. Release of a new report every 3 months 2. Working with the top 14-15 coins from coin-marketcap 3. Honorable mentions for a few coins that have shown exceptional innovation 4. Interviews with their devs, key team members and adversaries 5. Updates on their emerging projects.
What I am trying to build is a comprehensive report that allows individuals from outside the ecosystem to look at the state of alts in a glimpse and know where things are headed. Given there are a number of bitcoin related news websites, there is a general lack of quality, excess bias and in a number of cases outright conflict of interest.
Problems I will have / could use help with
1. Graphics 2. Editors - I can type out 15-20 pages on a coin per day, but I'll need it proof read. 3. Business dev - I am looking to keep the report for free, so the monetization aspect needs to be worked out.
Thoughts on this ?
