Author Topic: Need help with Electrum! Problem sending bitcoin to address from electric wallet  (Read 647 times)

OK so I recently trying a fairly large amount of coin from localbitcoins to my Electrum wallet so I could then transfer them to a site. I send the amount to the address I was givin, it's gone past the pending stage but it is going on 5 DAYS now and I have still not received the coins in the address given. It says it's at 525 confirmations, I have never had something like this take so long and now I am getting worried that I won't be able to access my coins.

If somebody could please help me with this I would greatly appreciate it as I am relatively new to this and I'm starting to panic a little.

so your btc is not shown in your localbitcoins account ? did you contact the support ? as you said that the transaction is already confirmed so it is not a problem of your electrum wallet. so you should contact localbitcoins support and they can only help you. good luck.

No..I have funds in my Electrum wallet. I sent some of them to an address (not local bitcoins) and it has not yet shown up on the site. I have transferred funds to this address before no problem in under 30 minutes so I'm not sure what's taking so long. That'd what I need help with

If the TX is confirmed its not a problem with your wallet, but with the "site". Where did you send the coins to?

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

I sent them to a bitcoin based marketplace that I use regularly. Like I said before I have never had an issue in the past so I don't know what's going wrong.

If you're sending from Electrum address TO a site address and the transaction is confirmed, you'll have to contact the site's support.

But that's the thing I don't think the transaction was confirmed
