Since I started with crypto I've been looking for a way to convert crypto to fiat in a anonymous or semi-anonymous way but have found about nothing.
I'm not comfortable sending copies of my passport/id to exchanges, but I would be comfortable just giving my name, address, etc like I do when creating a stocks trading account. The only prepaid card I found for the time being is advcash, but they have a limit of 250usd and then you have to verify yourself, besides that I've found no good solution. How do you do? Do you all really send copies of your passport/id to exchanges? wouldn't that go against the spirit of cryptos?
I dont know if this helps you out, but I will tell you some sort of alternative that I do since the entire wave crest situation.
I found a bunch of casinos that take bitcoin as a deposit and allow you to withdraw skrill or some other sort of fiat.
I deposit my bitcoin, i play 15% of the funds on roulette ( some casinos require some retarded rule of 35x bets, but u can easily avoid those shitty ones ).
I bet 1$ on red, 1$ on black so it's an even bet. Then I proceed to withdraw to my bank account. I declare my incomes and pay taxes. In my country, if income from gambling doesn't exceed $200,000, taxes are just 3%. You can also use skrill's debit card.
This is NOT PERFECT, but it's how I adapted to the wave crest issue. Hope it helps.
You do mean playing on a roulette with have the same bet? That's way too risky. Havent you consider on hitting up that green? Its a sure loss when you hit it up.Going back into topic, id verifications doesn't really depend on your knowledge towards trading site. All do have the equality since each exchanger do have its own rules and regulations to follow. You can start out on standard ones which you can only trade up with very minimal deposits/withdrawals or in short having a limit,if you don't like limits then you would need to send out documents.

Actually the whole ID thing is bullshit (exchanges not wanting to trade fiat as need kyc) you shouldn't need to send id to ant exchange ever if you have a linked bank" account and make payment to and from that. Every bank in the world needs to complete stringent KYC. so if your banks link and thats where the money goes and comes from they can point to exactly who it is ... makes you wonder why its been made so difficult?
