Rise of Replay Attacks Intensifies Ethereum Divide

http://www.coindesk.com/rise-replay-attacks-ethereum-divide/

A week after The DAO attack I sold out of Ethereum, because I could see that the Ethereum community was (despite best efforts) in a mess with no clear path forward. Now they keep lurching from one problem to the next, with no end in sight. I'm impressed at the degree of support given to the Ethereum project (as reflected in the stability of the market cap), but I have to believe that at some point people are going to tire of the chaos. My own "lesson learned" is that we need to take baby steps in the whole concept of smart contracts and programmable money, because any flaws will be ruthlessly exploited to the detriment of investors. Ethereum represented a "great leap forward" rather than baby steps, and that will prove its undoing IMHO.
