we're talking about something bigger

a few days ago I was thinking about joining genesis mining I thought they were legit but I did some research and I found out that there are some people who are not getting any payments after 2-3 months
in the lifetime bitcoin mining subscription and some are stating that it still works after 3-4 months so can anyone get me a solid answer ??

and if they were actually a scam can anyone recommend me any good legit cloud mining sites ?

no its not scam as they mention if the mining profitable then you get paid otherwise it will be sutdown ..so if they have older mining contact buyed where your mantance fee is high then it will be closed after halving ..this all for mining company for same so they are not scam

Genesis mining is a well known scam and your question is also your answer as they stop paying after a few months in the lifetime contracts.

Hashnest is the only legit cloud mining website and although not profitable you can always opt out there by selling your GHS which makes it the perfect cloud mining website.

All others are scams in some sort or some form.

There are a zillion threads about this too. All you'll get is sig spammers talking out of their ass and the occasional scammer pushing some shit.

Until today genesis mining is fine,  there are only problem from some users and everything has be cleared. But if you wanna make Investment on cloud mining you can try to hashnest because it has clear support of hardware miners by bitmain.

Genesis is NOT fine. In order for Genesis to be fine, at least 1 person should be able to come out and show us they made MONEY on Genesis. Until now, I have not been able to find that person. So, Genesis is just legal way to take money away from naive clients.

cloudmining has been dead for a very long time.
the name of the sites change but they are all remaining the same bad investment. cloudmining is neither profitable for users nor profitable for the site itself if they have actual hashrate so the legit ones either run away or they are running a ponzi which they run away again.

Yes either low payments and legit ones and no scams. You should not think of cloud mining as a get rich quick scheme as this is the error the majority of the newbies do and go invest their money to all kind of scams like hashocean and co. If you want to earn big money with your investment this is not yet invented I am afraid so better hold your coins. If you want to make low profit which is near reality then you should invest in hashnest as its the only legit cloud mining website.

be careful for cloud mining sites who offering high profit for the investors because most of them will be scam in the end and currently it's very difficult to find real cloud mining sites and before you decide to invest at could mining sites better you figure out legitimacy from those sites before you regret your decission

Payments for me are really sporadic now, I took up an X11 contract last November for 1 year and up to the halving I was receiving daily payouts but now I think the payout amount must be so small it just doesn't get sent out and when it does it really is dust.

To be fair, I have made my investment back although I can't see there being much if any profit on it. 
I got the contract at a discount on black Friday and thought I would test it out so i fully expected it to go either way, just happy I got my initial investment back.

At this time I would not go near any cloud mining and you are right I have seen a lot of people having major issues with Genesis Mining on the btc contracts.

The higher profit they offer to their invester the higher the risk and scam it will be, so we better be carefull for those new cloudmining sites existing today some of them offering a 1 month roi and that is to good to be true offer and its clearly ponzi so thats why we better shut off the mindset that we can earn by investing at that its because it can kill our money and  can turn us wasted if we still continue to invest at them.

well, we can only hope for that. but I don't think any legit cloudmining sites will come into the market. creating a legit site is very hard it need big big mining rigs which is not easy for everyone.

Thw bold sentences is explaining if making the cloud mining site is not good, but because it's too easy to lure bitcoins with the name of cloud mining site. because the users do not need to feel complicated to buy, and installed it. just using and wait.

No, Genesis-Mining is not a scam website. It's still one of the very few legitimate cloud mining websites which is still paying. However, the profit is NOT guaranteed. You'll invest, but will not ROI, because of their bad offer.

Genesis mining is one of the big cloud mining site which is still in operation and i think there is not a big problem with their withdraw system at the current stage but their mining is not profitable for sure with current bitcoin price. And also they are very risky as every cloud mining service is risky for example you can see how hashocean and cldmine scams millions of dollar recently. I will suggest not to invest any in cloud mining sites.

They're misleading because they sell "Lifetime" mining contracts knowing full well that after 4-5 months difficulty will be so high that maintenance costs > earnings and they will shut you down
