Hi. I'm new to bitcoin, and looking for indicators on who and what to believe from forum members & the media.

Please post examples of red flags that should make me highly skeptical.

Possible examples:

5 points for saying the price is definitely about to crash.

5 points for saying the price can't possibly be about to crash.

5 points for saying the price can't go exponential.

10 points for saying Bitcoin is (not behaves like, is) a ponzi or pyramid scheme.

10 points for arguing bitcoin has peaked by pointing to something that was also true when bitcoins cost five dollars.

20 points for arguing bitcoin has peaked by pointing to something that was also true when bitcoins cost five cents.

20 points for saying the latest Fiat-catastrophy-of-the-week is driving huge numbers of the victims (rather than people watching it on the news) to run to bitcoin, without good evidence that this is actually happening.

20 points for suggesting the leaders of the fiat currency systems see bitcoin as an imminent risk.

30 points for making consistently incorrect predictions without showing how you learned from those mistakes.

40 points for a complaint about a bitcoin service entirely written in ALL CAPS.

50 points for saying the WoT is now irrelevant, without good evidence.
