He was atleast not smart enough to hide the $3.3 million if they found it that easy. Probably he thought he could live like a god or something and no one would care about. They need to take all he have and lot him rot in prison. You get what you deserve soon or late and bet there are some angry people who want to kick his ass.

How can you plead not guilty when you're nowhere near a court?

I assume this guy is still hiding out in china somewhere.

I hope he feels it was worth throwing his life away for some money. He won't be able to come back any time soon.

He didn't plead not guilty, but he contacted coindesk and said he's an innocent man.

That puzzles me, why is he breaking radio silence and bothering to contact coindesk if he has no intention of ever returning to the US? He might be covering himself in case he is ever located and brought back to the US.
