ARK will allow to resell your bots, as a matter of fact it works also as market for bots.
It is possible also to give permission to third party for reselling your bot.
It is possible to connect a smart contract and build an exchange out of it where bots can be marketed.
BUT
Coins(tokens) created with ethereum follow a standard.
If you have experience developing solidity, so you know how easy is to build a coin, you just declare the contract to be a TOKEN.
ARK bots aren't standard unfortunately, in fact when you buy 10 eth they are all the same, they are just numbers. the first eth or the last eth are equal.
Bots are different. each bot has a "name" (actually an id), so bot 1 is different from bot 2.
thay also have memory and things...
Beeing the first of this kind, ethereum platform can't fit. No platform can fit. unless you build one according to the standard.
Now the standard exists!
They are more a medium/long term investment actually, since the project must jumpstart.
I would never sell them too early. Wait them to produce some income, so later you have some money and you still have the bots.
The next Monkeyscage project isn't announced (no spoiler), but the plan is to connect it to ARK, and things will really boost.
I whish they would be standard!
People buy like crazy without really calculating the value, because actually calculating the value of coins is impossible, it is all prediction and psycology, but the price is never real in my opinion. I'm sure ARK would go up quite a lot inside an exchange since it has quite a striong identity in term of novelty, since it is a new phylosophy, but to be honest with bots the world will be different. In the medium long term it is possible to have an idea of the real value of a bot, because it depends on the money you earn. Like real shares of a company. A pretty precise value.
Without the boost of exchanges things will move slowly at the beginning. But we aren't worried at all, since at the moment ARK is the only multiplexed-market, and we don't have any competitors. It is like discovering a new land, where you can do what you want, with no one competing with you. Later other people will understand what we do and more collaborative markets will come. But still the problem remains, it is not possible with ethereum to give a NAME to each one of your coins!
And there are plenty cases where it is necessary.
Collaborative markets are one of the cases. When you buy a share form a big company, that share has a number, here is even more specific, because a bot isn't just a piece of paper with a number on it:it is a clerk of an e-commerce system. sleeping and working, sleeping and working, etc. etc.
Keep the bots, cross your fingers, and hope the database will startup, and when people come to list new coins they will pay all of you. BOTs owners.
And that money is yours.
When I started playing with ethereum I didn't accept the standard. is too limitative. I just built mine, according to the idea, instead of binding the idea to the language.
Doing so, Collaborative Markets become possible.
One day there will be a market where you buy BOTs operating any kind of system. Not only virtual systems, may be also physical ones. Like a tobacco vending machine transformed in to a collaborative market, just an example. You can buy a piece of the vending machine and have your share of income. this is the idea. Any service can be transformed in a collaborative market, avoiding the strict laws of financial products (like shares of a company). You can't emit shares of a tobacco machine, because emitting shares costs more than the machine! Actually you can't emit coins and launch an ICO without permission (In italy you risk to get arrested lol)
BUT..
You can emit BOTS! This is the trick! And it is legal.
As a matter of fact, Monkeyscage sells SOFTWARE (instances of software programs: BOTS) operating like an e-commerce.
E-commerce are pretty legal everywhere.
If one day they declare cryptos to be illegal, your BOTs will be anyway legal.
So people will create collaborative markets on the blockchain, where real money is used instead of cryptos.
(Just an extreme possible scenario!)
