Howdy folks,
I relieved this rather cryptic email from B-man tonight. All it said was:

Hi, xxxxxxx@xxxxx.com:
Your repair order has been Payed.
•   Expend: 0BTC
•   Order ID: xxxxxxxx
•   Repair ID: xxxxxxxxxxx
Order Details
Device Name   Count
Hashboard S9(12.93T 600M)    × 1
BB Board(S9-C5)    × 1
REPAIRORDER PAYED

I am assuming this means that my parts are covered by warranty and they aren't charging me anything. (Although it did cost a small fortune to send all 3.8 very heavy pounds of parts to China via UPS.) Sad

Also, on the repair ticket it's just as cryptic. It says under Pay Status "Payed" and under Replace Status it says "Hava Replace". Not sure what the "Hava" is supposed to mean. I thought it might be a truncated word, but I can't imagine what it might be. Hopefully it means my parts will be replaced by new boards.

Has anyone else going through B-man for a warranty repair received something similar? What was your experience and outcome, please?

Hopefully, it will be making it's way back to me soon. It's the only one of my S9's that has ever found a block!
It will be very nice to get this S9 up and running again, bringing my mini-farm up to 4 S9's - as long as the others keep hashing and don't start dying off one by one.

I will update this when I have more information and/or a tracking number. Then when my parts are received.

Also, thanks for any light from someone who has previously experienced this communication and similar notation on the repair ticket might be able to shed on this information.

Best wishes all and happy mining! Smiley Smiley

You can see it in your Bitmain account  under orders.

It appears my order details about the two non-working parts are on that page with zero fees to be collected. With todays date.

Also notes:
As soon as your payment is received in full you will receive email confirmation with order delivery details.
You may send payments from multiple accounts to reach the total required.

As far as I can tell, they are going to replace the parts with 0 BTC fees.

However, I should add nothing is crystal clear. It looks like they will be shipping it back to me as soon a 0 fees are collected.
I can only assume these will be replaced /new boards. And not the unrepaired boards I sent to them. That would be a shocker!

p.s. It would seem with all of the Western educated staff they must have on their payrolls that they could offer up web pages and correspondence which are clearer to understand and less-vague to us Westerners.

I will say that the person I did initial trouble-shooting with, her name was "Barbara", could indeed communicate with me pretty well and answered my questions in an easy-to-understand fashion.

I guess I will know for SURE when I get the package and open it. Because when I was trouble-shooting the parts, I put a small number in pencil onto each board to identify it from the others when I was switching the boards around.

Wish me luck on my first (and hopefully last Bitmain Tech return!! Smiley It seems like it has gone well! I pray that nothing gets "damaged" on its return trip to me!

Best wishes everyone.  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Thanks for the interpretation translation! I'm guessing both the hash board and the BB Black board were all repaired under warranty and will be making their way back to me soon! Smiley

Received my replaced boards a few days ago. Except for the VERY expensive cost of shipping a hash board and a BB board to China, all is cool.
I couldn't believe how much it cost!!  Angry
