After coming across OzCoin I saw that they take only 1% commission. Reading up on DGM system, I saw that it should approximate PPS over a longer period of time. How long that period should be, was not defined. I decided to run a test to see which one turns out to be better in terms of net payout.
I first ran DGM @ OzCoin for a 10 day period, which resulted in 0.53 BTC. During this time there was a difficulty increase of 10.98%
I then ran PPS @ 50BTC with the same miners for the next 10 days, netting 0.52 BTC. There was, again, a difficulty increase, but this time of a larger magnitude: 38.13%
If not for difficulty increases, which made this comparison rather difficult to compare, it seems that PPS has won - I would have gained estimated 0.64BTC in PPS over the first 10-day period.
