Price is lower then was a month ago.

Coin is only 2 months on Poloniex so maybe more unstable then others.

There was 40k DCR traded today. Maybe was someone just impatient and bough them expensive.

stop looking for a reason when you see a pump... sometimes theres is no reason(not a specific one..), is simple because it found a good support price and traders started to buy.

Exactly!!! In the altcoin market there is no way of predicting every pump and dump.

There is no reason why DCR got pumped but this coin was stable around 0.0024 - 0.0027 for quite some time. Sellers couldn't drive the price downwards so when whales come to buy. there will be an increase in the price naturally. Besides, there supply of this coin is very little so it would not be too difficult to pump the coin.

the up in price is because traders suspect DCR revving the engine a bit you know, warming it up to get a feel for how DCR will perform at higher revolutions.

The price is just about 20% lower than the one about a month ago. According to the altcoin price standards, it is not a dump.

You are right - the price seems sort of stable around 1.5 USD

Obviously the price is going down below 1 USD per DCR.
