Hey Guys,

Just signed up, There are currently a few well known 3d printing companies (shapeways, ponoko). But they do not accept bitcoins.

I would like to offer similar services for bitcoin users (payments through bitcoins). Is this something I should pursue?
Do people want access to printers that can produce higher quality/resolution than hobby based printers?

Here is a sample printed on an OBJET Connex machine.

Thanks,

You may like to know there was a recent announcement on this forum of a 3D-print for bitcoin service.

More interesting to me would be a marketplace for 3D printed goods, such as the one Shapeways offers, that pays royalties in bitcoin. Shapeways only pays shop owners with PayPal, and there are many reasons to avoid using them. No doubt a much bigger challenge though.
