I'm trying to reset my password via email, as my current password doesn't seem to work, but I'm still logged in.
I don't get any password reset emails after completing the forgot password form.
I have *@bitcointalk.org whitelisted

The only scenario in this case is if your account is being hacked. If its being hacked then the hacker have already changed your email address and will also change the password if you don't change it first. There's no other possibility. Password is not working, first major question mark , email is not coming 2nd big major question mark. I hope you solve this situation as once an account gets hacked here its very difficult to claim it back and I know very few cases in which such thing have happened.

Everyone can find themselves in an occasion like this, this forum do not have 2FA security so you better go here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=996318.0 and post a signed message.

You will be hack proof if you do this and won't worry about hackers anymore.

You are far from hack proof if you leave a signed message in that thread. It does not prevent you from getting hacked, but it does provide a way to prove that the account is yours and will help you get the account back.

It should not give you a false sense of security, as it will still be a troublesome process to get your account back. Preventing it from getting hacked is much better.

Thanks, the email address is correct in the profile field, but I never get a password reset email sent.
Anyone else have this problem?
Luckily I'm still logged in via stored cookie I assume, but once that is gone, I won't be able to log back in.

What was the issue with you not getting the email before hand?
This is a strange occurrence to say the least. Undecided
