Hey I was wondering what's a non-invasive place to buy btc through a bank transfer. I'm fine providing my id and ssn to a certain extent due to possible fraud and I understand that the seller wants to protect themselves but it's getting ridiculous when all that isn't enough when you're sending money from a verified bank account under your name so what are some good places?

www.localbitcoins.com this is the best place if you looking to buy, no matter what your requirement is you will most probably find it on localbitcoins. I have used it in past for several times and always got good results, just make sure you trade with a trusted seller.

Not sure that i agree with localbitcoins being the least invasive,  everytime i tried to buy on there in the last 3 months, sellers have wanted an actual picture of me holding my ID and bank card.  Like that is pretty bad and their was no way i was sending that.  https://bittylicious.com/ only requires id after a certain amount of bitcoin check them out and even then its a bank statement and passport/driving licence.

You can purchase coins from BTC-e. They require no ID proof, as long as your trade volumes are below a certain threshold. Else, you can try the Currency exchange section of this forum.

You either exchange it with a friend or go to Local Bitcoins. But if you want to transfer through bank wires, your anonymity will be over. Your bank is linked to your ID so transferring money to Bitcoin is going to leak all the data about your wallet(s) to the bank you're going to complete your transaction with.

100% agree, that goes for selling too. I've been involved in bitcoin since May 2014 & only recently looked into selling a few. I sold on localbitcoins & it's so easy.

Thats depends where you live. Some exchange dont support selling bitcoin especially the countries which actually ban bitcoin. You should try localbitcoin because it has a lot of country supported. Also coinbase, but im not sure if its a good site to buy or not.
Also try cex.io

any place that you want to pay for something with fiat is going to be "invasive" and when they are in countries like US the rules you have to follow become more!
with that said try coinbase or many of the exchanges out there like bitfinex, bitstamp, kraken, cex.io, or even btc-e which has many methods of payment some of them don't even need any documents.

Circle allows debit card buying, is that what you mean? That is what I use but I remember people being cranky with them a while ago, not sure why.

circle no longer offers these services. they couldn't handle it so they closed down that part of their site.

Circle have recently stopped their btc buying facility and are directing users to Coinbase, it's a shame as Circle were very easy to use.

You could try https://bittylicious.com they have always proved to be straight forward, no id just a faster payment is needed via your bank.  You are restricted though initially in the amount you can purchase and it is available in only a few countries.

If you don't want to provide ID etc, then the best way is to mine some alts using graphics cards and then sell them for bitcoin on one of the alt exchanges (which don't require much of an id because they arn't using fiat).

mining is ivnasive because he need to buy the miner first which mean to pay with fiat on some store, and that is invasive, the only way is to find someone locally and buy from him face to face

I think much better to share with us where do you live so that we can give the exact place where you can deposit and buy bitcoin..
For me much better to use local wallet or local exchange site where you can buy bitcoins like here in my country that you can buy bitcoin in many steps.. that instantly deposit to your account to exchange it into bitcoin..
You can also check coinbase if you are living in US country..

Solving blocks can't be solved without my rigs.

I can only think that something like localbitcoins will be a good way to exchange bitcoin without having to go through a ton of different checks as to who you are or what you have to offer.

I don't use localbitcoins much but I have heard from a lot of other people that it is pretty good overall, so I would recommend going over there and checking it out and seeing if it fits your needs.
