I am on W8 and I wanted to get into mining a bit with my 5850. I got everything set up and was monitoring it and setting fan speed with MSIAfterburner. I had to lower the intensity because the computer was basically unusable. I decided that I would rely on my integrated Intel graphics and just use the card for mining for now until I get my 670 back from RMA. My problem is that now MSIA no longer gives me any useful information and won't let me adjust anything on the card. Catalyst is also not letting me do anything. I tried clocktweak, but it told me everything had negative values and wouldn't let me set fan speed. Anyone know how to get around this problem (other than installing Linux)?
