Bitcoin-Central is currently closed due to a security breach which they detected on April 1st.
However for much of the previous week, well before that date, their EUR Market Depth Chart on Bitcoin Charts had a distinctly odd appearance.
Instead of the usual valley shaped graph for Bid/Ask prices, there was an essentially empty graph with, as I recall, a tall 'Ask' bar deep into 'Bid' territory. I don't have a screen dump to show, so I hope that description isn't too confusing.
(The chart is still looking strange, but with the exchange down I guess that's not unexpected).
Does anyone have any light to shed as to why this could have happened and, perhaps more importantly, could it have any relation to the security breach?
