I am trying to buy $1000 (which is the cap to cash transactions), but it won't let me Sad

I tried $999 but it still said We're sorry, but there is a 999.0 limit on cash transactions.

What's up?

Maybe the rule is "less than 999 $"...
Have you tried with a sum lower than 999$ yet?
