I need some advice.  I should meet some guy that i found on localbitcoin.com tomorrow to buy some bitcoins.

Never bought any before.  How can I be sure that I'm not getting scammed?

Is there anything that I should receive to let me know that it's legit?

I don't even know what I should receive.

Please help!

Sounds like you need to learn a little more about this before spending any fiat on it.

Still around.

Thanks for that.  I'm guessing that there's not any fool proof way to know that I'm not going to get scammed when I meet the guy, is there?

Exactly, I would go to a pub and have a drink and hook up to their wifi and wait until it's confirmed.  Have a drink with them.  Buy them the drink even.  But I'd wait till the coins were transferred in a public place until I handed over cash.
