Although I still think that the Bitcoin Foundation should be disbanded, I agree with Claasen's assessment. Of course you don't have to be a real prophet to know that SegWit activation will have a significant positive impact on Bitcoin adoption.
Judging by the initial node adoption of the 0.13.1 release, which happened significantly faster compared to previous releases, I'm quite fairly confident that we might SegWit activation by the end of this year. Ver won't be able to sustain his blockade policy, if he doesn't want to face total marginalization within the crypto community. His attempts are futile anyway. It's not unrealistic that some miners have held back mining power that comes online only after SegWit signaling.
Meanwhile the banks have wasted a lot of capital for Blockchain mojo. It will be a rude awakening for them, when they have to realize that the real killer app is Bitcoin the free decentralized currency.
