Ok, so I've been waiting 3 weeks to be able to draw out fiat on larger amounts than $2000. Any suggestions for a platform where I can get more out in one go.

You can try poloniex. Its a pretty big exchange so I think it is quite safe to use.

2. polo has spent 4 weeks to verify my account and not approved yet......
