If buying using MTGOX & if selling use another exchange to drive up price?

Most of the market derives the value of BTC from the price on MTGOX right?

So if you are selling BTC, sell them on another exchange, this will not drive down the price as much as selling them directly on MTGOX would. When you are buying, use MTGOX and this will drive up the price more than buying on another exchange.

(This is slightly offset by traders & arbitrage)


Would this work and could it be used to counteract the strategy being employed by people who seem to be doing the opposite (Selling on MTGOX and attacking/blocking the MTGOX exchange to cause a panic and drive down the price)
